hope y’all are doing well.
"‘Remember to delight yourself first, then others can be truly delighted.’
When we focus on the song of our soul and heart, then others will be touched similarly. Sometimes people wonder or worry whether people will like or approve of their creative expression. It’s none of your business. It’s your business to stay present and focused for the work of your deepest dreams. It might look crooked or strange, or be very odd — but if it delights you, then it is yours, and will find it’s way into other hearts."

the geek behind the curtain: all shots and layers in this assemblage were taken and developed by myself.
1 shot, taken this morning. it was a teacher in-service day at school, but as far was little E is concerned they gave everyone the day off for her birthday. she came in with me to work that morning and helped out with a quick shot before bunking down in a big office chair and watching movies.
there were two little challenges with this — one was to create the reflection of the glowing orbs in the layers of steampunk goggles she’s wearing. (and used a dodge brush just a bit on the shadows on her cheeks to add to the impression of glowing orbs). the other challenge was to make it look like the orbs of light were inside the empty glass canister rather than in a layer on top.
