I made a beef and ale stew last night with Guinness draught stout that ended so bitter that it was inedible. I have made it before with a different stout, but can’t remember which I used. I’m in America, and I’m not a beer drinker at all, so I don’t have much knowledge. Can someone provide a brand of a good stout that I can use? I don’t want to waste another stew!
EDIT: Can someone recommend a brand of an ale or lager?
